Hi I’m Norm Anderson III, a 2010 graduate of Homer High School and avid sports fan. I have grown up playing, coaching, and writing about sports. Basketball, baseball, and pro-wrestling are my favorite. I was the voice of the 2010 and 2012 Great Alaskan Shootout in Anchorage, AK for KRUA radio. As the captain of the basketball and baseball teams in high school, I became the 2010 Mariner of the year, but my passion is reporting, not just playing these sports. My goals are to finish school with a communication degree in journalism within the next few years and work for a professional sports team either in radio or print. However my other dream as a sports journalist would be to travel with and report World Wrestling Entertainment shows across the country. I’m grateful to have this opportunity working with the Homer News to bring you up to date reports about your local sports.
